This painting was from a photo I took on a September day.  There was a cool wind, and a bright sun.  When the wind would let up I could feel the heat of the mid day.  

I used two blues, two reds, two yellows, and white.  I shifted the layout of the vegetation slightly to create strong visual lines and layers to give the piece depth.
