Bianca Andreescu is a wonderful tennis player.  She posesses grace on and off the court.  
This drawing is the first female added to my Canadians page.  Bianca was making headlines and history as she excelled in her sport, and I got caught up in the excitement.  As I worked on this piece I realized I very much enjoyed drawing athletes.  I followed this piece up with one of Mandy Bujold, and plan to draw many more athletes.
Drawing her arm obscured by her racket was a great challenge and satisfying to pull off.
